DEDICATE - Yourself to God
Dedication, how do we use that word? We use it when we dedicate a building, when we dedicate ourself to a spouse, dedicate our children to the Lord, and dedicate a day to remember something. Dedication implies a purpose and a process you can dedicate to: ie... you dedicate a building for some purpose, you dedicate yourself to a person, etc. In the Christian walk it is both. We dedicate ourselves as the temple of God for His use and the residence of His Spirit, and we are dedicated to a person --God Himself.
Q. So what does dedication to God look like?
Q. What does dedication involve?
A. It would certainly involve worship, prayer, and interaction with God's Word. There may be other elemens, but without these one would have a hard time proving any real dedication to the God who commands us to be in relation with Him.
