First off, think home not cathedral. We have designed our building with the feel of entering someone’s home, not some huge cold cathedral.
Our services generally last an hour and 15 minutes, and dress is casual. We realize that coming to a new place can be a bit intimidating, so we try to create an environment that is friendly and inviting. As you enter the building you will be greeted and given a program for the day and invited to have something to drink and some pastries. If you are new to Homeport you will receive a complimentary gift bag as well. You enter the worship area down either of the hallways in the building and enter a room filled with both rows of chairs as well as round tables at which you may sit and place your refreshments. We invite you to find a seat wherever you are most comfortable.
During the service we celebrate by singing, praying, taking bread and juice to remember Jesus, and listening to a message. You can participate in a way that is comfortable for you. We can’t wait to see you soon.
We have a worship service at 9 AM which is blended (music includes both hymns and praise choruses)
Our second service begins at 10:45 and is contemporary in nature (music more upbeat led by a band). At this service we also provide a full children's program from Nursery thru 5th Grade.
